Insider Acne Studios Spring-Summer 2021: Interview with Jonny Johansson

access_time 00:02:00

Interview jonny johansson:i really felt that i wanted to, that i could go to fashion again. you know, i've been, before this all happened, i felt quite, not negative, but quite full. and i felt that there are a lot of problems with environment and fashion is doing a bad job. and now i feel really optimistic because i had time to work on things and to make a plan. and i think people need fashion from self-expression, from a playful perspective, from the creative side, it's a very important thing in societywe have five rooms, which is about light, actually, so the whole collection is very inspired by light and what light makes to garments, to fabric, to people and how things look different in different light. and i've been playing with a lot of luminous fabrics. the difference i would say, isn't that we tried to do, was to, everybody knows that streetwear is embedded in fashion for women today. we try to turn the other way. and look, if, you know, bigger dresses, bigger gowns could be introduced in daytime in a more spontaneous way and more comforting way.music from the show (to use only in context of the show, under cover of the right to information)
