The beautiful season has begun, so we take a look at this summer’s hottest swimsuits styles. Firstly, note the retro side, push-up bras and bright colours are seen at Michael Kors leading us to another trend: florals. This embellishes many pieces. We love the romantic side enhanced by these colourful motifs, beautifully worn by Constance Jablonski and Laetitia Casta for Etam.During their annual show, Etam also fittingly highlights another trend: swimsuits with a low-cut or supported neckline. A touch of the eighties and a new sensuality appears on the water’s edge, especially brought to life by the young brand, Anja, who has just arrived at the Galeries Lafayette. As you can see: Colours and sensuality are celebrated for the first time on all body shapes, as several fashion houses have recently shown us.Interview with Alexandra Thiltgès:I know that we are heading more towards the sensual, everything that is more feminine and a little more revealing, we will see a deeper neckline in a sensual style without it being too sexy, the knickers are going to be low-cut but they won’t go in between the buttocks like a thong. So it’s the idea of playing between refinement and sensuality but as always with elegance so that you feel feminine and desirable in a swimsuit. My main concern was to really have the effect of a “second skin” and to not feel the swimsuit when you swim. I find that when you undress you want to feel good and highlight your femininity.
