Emilio Pucci : Collection Spring/Summer 2017 in Milan (with interview)

Artistic Director : Massimo Giorgetti Silhouette : Draped, slender, colours inspired by the Pucci archives. The designer expresses the desire to design a silhouette which seems simple but particularly easy to appropriate and looks to transpose the Pucci heritage in a new futuristic and contemporary era.Focus : on the jersey boots which you can pull up and you can drape on the leg, on the swimsuit with solid colours. +lively coloured, flowing dress To note : A collection almost entirely made in jersey+Tribal inspiration for the graphic prints Interview with Massimo Giorgetti :It’s a love story with colours, with Pucci colours, I used original colours as seen on the invitational card, it’s a strong message because I really worked hard on the archive, I really worked hard with the colours and with the jersey, and the big challenge was the new way to work with jersey and prints.I think the future and the technique is very, very important, I love to experiment; I love to try a lot of samples, a lot of techniques, there’s a lot of amazing artcraft in each detail, the made in Italy message is very important to me and the quality but not just the quality but also the future of made in Italy because it’s very, very important.Music from the show (only to be used in the context of the show, protected by the right to information.)
