Emilio Pucci- WOMENSWEAR collection Autumn-Winter 2016/17 in Milan (with interview)

Designer: Massimo GiorgettiFocus on: the mountain landscapes that are printed on the clothing. A sporty spirit through the ski suit, the puffer jacket in Pucci colours.+ Fluidity in pleated skirts + A desire for luxury and urban comfort with shiny effects and embroidery, long knit sweaters and oversized coats in vibrant colours.Note: the flat shoes with a pointed toe that close with metal staplesInterview from Massimo Giorgetti : It is a tribute to Pucci, its paying homage to the mountain world, but also, at the same time, it’s paying homage to active wear, to sportswear, to casual wear, and to day wear of what Pucci used to be. We dived into the archives but put them into a modern attitude. It is really important for me to work on the archives but at the same time, I don’t want the clothes to smell of vintage. I really think I can play with the codes of the brand and have fun. I really had fun with this collection! At the same time the fit is not skinny or oversized, it is easy to wear, it is not difficult to wear. I really think every girl can wear all the pieces.
