Anna Sui Fall Winter Collection 2013/14 in New York (with itw)
Anna sui loves france and especially french cinema and the classic godard films. to a soundtrack containing the greatest hits of the era, the designer also celebrates the 60s in her new collection: chasuble dresses, light tunics worn over tights and trapeze coats. the colours and prints -her trademark - range from a psychedelic spirit with floral patterns. all the top models of the moment (karlie, cara, aymeline, liu wen, etc.) were present just like sofia coppola, a big fan of her dresses ...

anna sui : i watched all the french new wave films. i fell in love with godard films, my favorites were masculin féminin, a woman is a woman and i just loved his composition, starting from the film credits, the way he places them in natural settings, so it could be a garage or a street with a poster in the background and every frame was like a work of art and so it just really inspired me.
when i saw masculin féminin i just loved the way the girls in that film looked, they were editors of french mademoiselle and i just love that period so it got me thinking of styles like that.
the fans of my clothes love my prints. i think prints are really what make my business, so it's like the centre of my business.
